Bathroom to Luxury Shower Room Conversion!
Well another new year has arrived and BPMB are back to work after a lovely Christmas break!
Thus bringing us to our first project of the year, to convert a standard size bathroom in to a modern and contemporary spacious shower room with state of the art vanity wall units and mirror lighting.
As you will see from the photographs and video below, this project involved a lot of alterations to the room including plaster boarding and plastering throughout, new chip board flooring and extensive plumbing modifications.
* The first stage as always, is to strip out the old and in with the new!
The half height stud wall to the rear of the toilet will be removed to gain more space for the new shower room vanity units.
The pipework under the bath will need re-routing under the floor boards.
I've removed the half height stud wall to the rear of the toilet in order to gain more space. The plumbing you see here, will be re-located tight to the wall.
The soil pipe has been modified with the inlet pipe now located close to the rear wall.
